Laura Osman Beam

“Humans, we're complex, hilarious, capable, emotional, creative, and bloody brilliant! We are the most valuable asset in any organisation and keeping the talented humans we work with engaged and inspired is the single most important thing an organisation can do.

I believe that if we're spending a third of our lives at work then work should provide a sense of purpose and connection, be somewhere we can grow, be our authentic selves and feel valued for what makes us unique. And to make that happen, we also need outstanding leaders - ones who are compassionate, courageous, and possess the human skills to unlock potential in others. That is why I founded BEAM.

I'm beyond passionate about the work we do, and I am thrilled when we get to partner with organisations that share our mission.

So, if you're ready to bring out the best in your team and create a workplace where everyone thrives, let's chat! And let’s make work awesome together!”

Laura Osman

Executive Coach, Facilitator, Lecturer, Speaker

Laura Osman is the founder and beating heart of Beam. Her wonderfully squiggly career began in the world of professional acting, (ask her about 4 months playing a green monster). She then moved into a successful career in educational leadership leading large teams, heading up learning and development initiatives and growing coaching cultures.

Laura’s passion for coaching rocketed and after 17 years in education she trained as an executive coach (EMCC Senior practitioner) and is now also an associate lecturer in Coaching at the University of East London. She began coaching leaders across various industries and organisational contexts, gaining first-hand insight into their needs and professional challenges. It was from this experience that Beam was born.

Beam now partners with a diverse range of organisations from multinational corporations to UK-based startups, national charities, and universities. Laura's expertise extends beyond coaching; she is an expert facilitator and trainer, who leads with warmth, humour and authenticity. Whether leading a group workshop or conducting a one-to-one session, she strives to create magic—the moment where people find genuine connection, authenticity, and ultimately, positive change.

As well as a mother of three, Laura is an inspired "bin-the-recipe" cook, an undefeated white-collar boxer, an avid Kate Bush fan and admittedly, someone who can't follow a dance routine to save her life.
