Why learn

Training your leaders in a coaching approach can be hugely beneficial to your school. When individuals are coached they are more focussed, more productive, they take accountability for actions and they are better at solving problems. Together this contributes to a higher level of performance and increased motivation and engagement.
What are the outcomes?

-
Feel confident to coach others both formally and informally.
-
Understand the theory, skills and mindset needed to coach others effectively.
-
Use a variety of coaching models and approaches.
-
Develop effective coaching relationships that support others to achieve their goals and inspire change at a deeper level.
What's involved?

This course is designed to help leaders understand and practice the eight core coaching competencies required by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC). They will leave understanding what it means to be an effective coach and with the skills and confidence to use coaching to support the performance of colleagues and students and to contribute to a culture of learning, growth, and improvement across the school.
